Cindy’s first time performing in drag is camp, outrageous... and a bit of a disaster. When she accidentally kicks her massive heel into the face of unsuspecting audience member K, little does she realise the impact this incident will have. Whilst K is instantly besotted and keen to learn more of this mystery performer, Cindy must head north for a family dinner. Whilst Cindy seems to share a genuine bond with her anxious mum, the relationship with her twin brothers seems tense over her absence. Upon the discovery that a video of her risque performance has gone viral, Cindy is forced to face her family’s immediate reaction; Mum’s anxiety-fuelled outrage a reflection of both gender standards and a generational divide. Caught up in the stress that her actions have caused, Cindy returns home with her confidence shaken – but a surprise awaits her...
